Canvas

The Canvas is an advanced workspace where users can design AI-driven workflows. Unlike traditional editing tools, the Canvas enables users to link different AI models, utilities, and assets in a node-based system, making it a flexible and powerful environment for content creation.

How It Works

The Canvas is a freeform, node-based interface that allows users to visually organize their AI-powered workflows. Users can connect various nodes (representing AI models, utilities, and assets) to define custom generative pipelines.

Key Features

1. Nodes & Connections

  • Nodes – Each node represents an AI model, an asset-loading tool, or a utility.
  • Connections – Users can link nodes by dragging connection lines, defining how information flows between them.
  • Input & Output Handles – Nodes feature handles that specify how elements interact with each other.

2. Workflow Execution

  • Run Individual Nodes – Execute nodes one by one by clicking the Run button on each node.
  • Real-Time Editing – Modify parameters and re-run nodes to fine-tune results.

3. Node Types

  • Generation Nodes – AI models that create new images, videos, or audio based on inputs.
  • Utility Nodes – Enable users to connect outputs or perform basic editing tasks like overlaying audio on top of a video.
  • Loading Nodes – Nodes such as Load Image, Load Video, and Load Audio allow users to upload their own content directly into the workflow.

4. Collaboration & Workflow Management

  • Automatic Saving – Workflows are automatically saved in the background.
  • Live Collaboration – Users on the Enterprise Plan can collaborate in real time on the same workflow.

Best Practices

  • Use Auto-Layout – Automatically organize your workflow for better readability.
  • Keep Workflows Modular – Break complex workflows into smaller, reusable segments.
  • Use Labels & Groupings – Organize nodes logically for clarity.
  • Try Different Models – Experiment with different AI models to find the best fit for your needs.

Getting Started

  1. Click the Canvas button in the left sidebar to start a new canvas, or click Canvas Workflows to view existing workflows.
  2. Add nodes by dragging them onto the canvas from the node library.
  3. Connect nodes by linking output handles to input handles.
  4. Adjust parameters to achieve desired outputs, then click Run on a node to process it.

The Canvas provides a powerful, flexible, and intuitive interface for building AI-driven creative workflows, enabling users to create, refine, and iterate on content generation with unprecedented control.
